STV0680B ICA Driver for Mac OSX. Release Version 1.00 April 2002 ================================= Requirements ------------ - Mac running MacOS X.1 or later - STV0680B-001 or STV0680B-003 Camera - Image Capture Application (installs as part of OS) - iPhoto (free download from http://www.apple.com/macosx/) Installation Notes ------------------ 1. Copy USBDualModeCamera 1.0.dmg over to HDD then double click to create the disk image USBDualModeCamera 1.0b4.pkg 2. Double click on the USBDualModeCamera 1.0b4.pkg icon to install the driver. The driver will install like a seperate disk on your Mac (will appear on desktop). NOTE: For customers putting this on their CDROM, you can either use the .dmg file on a PC format CDROM, or if you have a hybrid MacOS/PC CDROM, you can copy the .pkg file directly onto the MacOS partition of the CDROM image. Application Notes ----------------- Image Capture App - Downloads images (all sizes), continuous movie clips and audio clips. RTC mode (if h/w fitted on camera) - works correctly with this driver release, (this of course is only for images and movie clips). iPhoto - Will only download images (all sizes), ignores movies and audio clips (limitation of app). 'Erase contents after transfer' - Will only erase last images on camera, ie. if you have 3 images, then 1 audio clip, then 3 images, then 1 movie clip, then 3 images (in that order) stored on your camera. Then 'Erase contents after transfer' will only delete the last 3 images...it can not delete the movie clip or any images stored before that - Limitation of camera (ie. can only do 'delete all' and not 'delete selected'). Known Bugs ---------- - iPhoto upload log time seems to be set 12 hours behind the system clock. This has been verified as an application bug - bug report sent. Note: iPhoto and Image Capture App are similar to WIA apps on a PC - ie. application only sees new objects on camera after an unplug/replug.
